We are lucky enough to have a forest area at the back of our nursery, which you may have spotted through the railings whilst walking down the hill! Our children love exploring and playing in this 'magical' area, which we are currently working on and developing further, with the hope of gaining 'Forest School' status. 

Forest School is a child-centred inspirational learning process, that offers opportunities for holistic growth through regular, outdoor sessions. It supports play, exploration and supported risk-taking; developing confidence and self-esteem through learner-inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting. Through Forest School, Learners develop socially, emotionally, spiritually, physically and intellectually whilst fostering a deeper and more meaningful, connection to the world.
